Shared screen, real-time interactions, responsive both in and after class! Our instructors aim to help every student set and achieve their language learning goals, by ensuring that each course is customized to an individual student’s specific needs.

Listening, speaking, reading and writing can be all covered in each class. Students are going to expect a proper amount of assignments and dictation, as well as some speaking and writing exercises. A student also has the option to focus on polishing one or multiple language skills (listening/speaking/reading/writing). The classes may incorporate learning from Mando-pop and Chinese-language TV and cinema. Each course includes 1 mid-term and 1 final quizzes.

Each course includes 16 classes. After completion of the first course, a beginner may expect to be capable of speaking and writing basic vocabulary and sentences, reading simple articles, and sustaining daily conversations. After completion of 2 consecutive courses, the beginner may step up to the intermediate level. Students knowing some basic Chinese may take a proficiency test to help us individualize the course.

Each class is 45 minutes. Normally we give 2-4 classes per week. However, we may increase or reduce the number of classes based on the individual student’s schedule and personal pace.

One course consists of 24 classes. There will be 2 consecutive classes (1.5hrs) per session and 1-2 sessions per week. The instructors will take turn teaching for each session.

Online Learning (small-size class of 3-5). Shared screen, real-time interactions, responsive both in and after class! We also provide the screen recording following each class. A WhatsApp group will be created to monitor each course participant’s learning progress.

The assignments after each class vary in formats, including audio responses, written homework and vocabulary tests, as well as occasional speaking and writing exercises. The classes may also incorporate learning from Mando-pop and Chinese-language TV and cinema. Each course includes 1 mid-term and 1 final quizzes.

Beginners may expect to be capable of speaking and writing basic vocabulary and sentences, reading simple articles, and sustaining daily conversations. After completion of the second course, beginner students may step up to the intermediate level, with the option to either continue learning independently or to enroll in more advanced courses to polish specific skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
